OLDS
Olds is the largest urban community in Mountain View County, a major service centre and regional market for over 20,000 people. The central location along the bustling Highway 2 corridor, and its proximity to major centres like Red Deer and Calgary, contribute to its continued growth and economic stability. Home to the Olds Grizzlys of the Alberta Junior A hockey league and Olds College, the friendly hospitality helps make Olds a prosperous community with a commitment to sustainable growth and the maintenance of a quality lifestyle. Olds won the National Communities in Blooms Competition in 2005, and has since participated in the International competition. Famous for "Olds Fashioned Hospitality" and home to one of Canada's best Town Criers, there’s always something to do in Olds, rain or shine, winter or summer.

DIDSBURY
Didsbury is a beautiful town located in the heart of central Alberta, just a stone's throw from the famous Rocky Mountains. The town offers an unique mix of seniors development, a strong business centre, and modern recreational and educational facilities for young families. Didsbury is ideally suited to provide the luxury of country living with outstanding up-to-date "urban" facilities, including the Aquatic Centre which includes a 25-metre five lane indoor swimming pool, 150 foot waterslide, beach area, hot tub, and steam room. Because of Didsbury's prime location near Highway 2 and close proximity to Calgary and Red Deer, more and more people are discovering this community, where they can safely raise their children with excellent educational and recreation facilities. Didsbury is home to the Mountain View Colts of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League, and the home of Stick Curling in Canada. Annual events include the Fair & Rodeo, Rosebud Run Sleddog Classic, Lions Soap Box Derby, and the largest Trade Show in Mountain View County.

The Sundre Hospital and Care Centre provides acute and continuing care, and 24-hour emergency service. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) serve the Sundre area, and the town is served by a 25-member volunteer fire department. If it's time spent on the links you like, Sundre could be just the place for you, with three golf courses within five minutes of town.
