Mary Jane is a native of Olds as a result, she is very familiar with the urban and rural areas of Mountain View County.

Mary Jane began her career in real estate in 2006 following the sale of the family owned community newspaper and publishing company, Leatherdale Publishing Ltd. She served as editor, reporter and news photographer in the third generation family owned business.

Mary Jane brings a wealth of knowledge to her real estate clients.

In addition to serving Buyers and Sellers in the real estate market she is also committed to serving the community working as a volunteer to a large number of community organizations.

At the local level, Mary Jane is a founder and current director of the Olds and District Christmas Angels Society, a non profit group that ensures the delivery of food and toy hampers to less fortunate families in the Olds area each Christmas. She has also served on town based committees including Olds and District Family and Community Support Services board, Olds Homecoming Committee. She and is currently serving her first term as Olds Town councilor. Her previous elected experience includes school trustee and hospital trustee On the provincial scene she served for a period of 12 years as a director for the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association and was elected president of the 110 member association in 2002. In 2007 Mary Jane was appointed to a three year term as a public member to the Alberta Press Council.
